About Us
Horsham Publications Ltd is owned and run by local resident, Julie Maxted who has lived and worked in the area for some 23 years. She took over the very successful Holbrook Pages in 2008 and the magazine has gone from strength to strength.
It seemed a natural progression to expand into another part of Horsham so in the summer of 2010, Horsham Pages was launched, building on the success of Holbrook Pages.
'Hot off the press' is news that Horsham Publications recently took over Southwater Life covering Southwater and the surrounding area.
Julie has also run her own pet sitting and house minding business in the area for nine years - Holiday Help 4 Petz (www.holidayhelp4petz.co.uk) and runs the magazines in conjunction with this business too, now with husband Peter.
Peter also works on the advertising sales side of Horsham Publications too.
In the summer of 2009, Julie decided to outsource the design side of the magazine and local designer, Kate Skinner of KNS Design now produces the magazines.
Another local resident, and neighbour of Julie’s in North Horsham, Dee Ryder, also joined the business in 2009, and works with Julie on the administration and customer support.
Distribution is carried out by local resident, Roger Smith and his small team in the area.
The printing of both magazines is undertaken by local company, Foundry Press in Foundry Lane, Horsham (www.foundry-press.co.uk).
