Julie Maxted – Editor & Publisher
Since taking over Horsham Publications in 2008, Julie has grown the business from one magazine to three and increased the magazine circulation from 4,000 to over 28,000 homes and businesses.
Julie lives in Horsham with her husband Peter and has three grown-up children and pets. With her business experience, local knowledge and many contacts, Julie is the ideal person to advise Horsham businesses on the marketing and advertising.
Julie loves to help new and established businesses promote themselves in the local area. Do pop in for a chat and a cuppa!
Peter Maxted – Co-Director – Sales & Distribution
Although a Director of Horsham Publications, Peter also runs the very successful Pets, Homes and Gardens franchise (www.petshomesandgardens.co.uk).
Peter is delighted with the growth in circulation for Horsham Publications and works hard to ensure that the business continues to flourish and serve Horsham’s growing population.
Dee Ryder – Client Liaison and Office Manager
Dee is the hub of Horsham Publications, responding swiftly to client enquiries and making sure deadlines are met!
Gemma Gray – Sales Executive
Gemma makes those all important sales calls as well as dealing with new business enquiries
Charlotte Maxted – Sales Executive
Charlotte is currently on maternity leave and returns in January 2018.
Kate Skinner – Graphic Designer
Kate ensures the magazines are interesting and attractive through innovative, modern design, plus developing ads for new advertisers.
Vicki Wain-Heapy – Accounts Assistant
Vicki ensures the business runs efficiently and so keeps the clients happy.
Clare West – Distribution Manager
Clare is responsible for over 20 local distributors to ensure the magazine is delivered efficiently and effectively in Horsham and Southwater.
Julie and her team work really hard on all the magazines to try and blend the community news and articles with the advertising, to produce a magazine that most people like, keep, read and importantly use. Distribution for all three magazines now reaches over 28,000 homes and businesses, all door-to-door.
